Our regular meetings take place approximately monthly between September and May. Unless indicated otherwise they are held in the dining room of the Glen Mhor Hotel, Ness Walk, Inverness. In addition, we hold a summer event. The dates shown below, and the order in which events are held, are subject to change as the programme details are finalised.

29th September 2008 Wines of Southern Spain - the speaker will be Ed Hobbs of John E Fells (UK distributors for Barbadillo) and the venue is La Tortilla Asesina, Castle Street, Inverness
10th November 2008 New Zealand wines - led by a speaker from C J Pask Winery, Hastings, New Zealand (organised through Gordon & MacPhail, Elgin). The venue will be the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness. (Note: This incorporates and replaces the October tasting)
8th December 2008 Festive food & wine - led by Nicol Manson, Hon. President IWAS. The venue will be the Waterside Hotel, Inverness.
26th January 2009 AGM. The venue will be the Glen Mhor Hotel, Ness Walk, Inverness.
23rd February 2009 The wines of Sicily and Sardinia - led by a speaker from T M Robertson (part of Berkmann Wine Cellars)
30th March 2009 The topic will be: "Why wine costs what it does". The talk will be led by Alan Vose of Peckham's.

29th June 2009 Summer event - a dinner with suitable wines is being arranged at Café 1, 75 Castle Street, Inverness. A letter with full details and booking information will be sent to all members. Note: This is a repeat of last year's summer event, as it proved so popular with members. (NB/ The evening will start promptly at 7.30pm - it is requested that those who are booked to attend be there on time.)
